Do you have experience operating a press brake? Have you worked in a manufacturing or production setting?

Express Employment Professionals is searching for a skilled Press Brake Operator to support a local Lincoln, NE company’s production efforts. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience with both setup and operation of press brakes. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with the potential to turn into a long-term career! Pay is up to $22/hr.

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake(s) to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
• Plan layout of product based on blueprints, drawings, and/or other designs
• Use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, to ensure compliance with product specifications
• Load tool and die appropriate for each product
• Ensure machines are operating correctly and troubleshoot malfunctions and defects as appropriate
• Maintain records for production and quality checks
• Communicate stock and supply needs as necessary
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on machinery
• Provide support and assistance to teammates as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Skills/Experience:

• Applicants must have been employed in their most recent position for at least 1 year
• 1+ year of previous experience operating a press brake required
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• High attention to detail
• Willing to follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace
• Ability to weld/fabricate and/or operate a forklift is a plus!
• Employees paid weekly!
