Step into a temp-to-hire role where craftsmanship and safety set the pace. You’ll begin with training on 1st shift, then transition to 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM. Pay starts at $19.00–$21.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00/hour increase after permanent hire.

A Day in the Shop

Your shift starts with reviewing cut lists and blueprints. You’ll set up cold and band saws, check tooling, and verify measurements with calipers, micrometers, and tape. Throughout the evening, you’ll cut and deburr materials to tight specs, keep a clean and safe work area, and jump in on warehouse tasks—moving material with a forklift and operating shop equipment as needed. Routine equipment and building upkeep rounds out the day, along with flagging any safety concerns you spot.

What You’ll Do

• Cut and deburr materials to precise job specifications using cold saws, band saws, lathes, and deburring equipment.
• Set up and operate cutting and deburring machines efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine equipment and basic building maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints; verify work with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Maintain safety protocols and promptly report potential hazards.
• Support warehouse operations, including forklift operation and shop equipment use.

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of successful experience in a shop environment.
• Hands-on skill with cold saws, band saws, lathes, and deburring machines.
• Blueprint literacy and confidence using precision measuring tools.
• Previous forklift experience (required).
• Ability to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.
