Position Overview: We’re looking for a talented Branch Lead to fulfill a part-time/seasonal position with potential to transition into a full-time role. The Branch Lead will plan and execute 20+ weddings per year while growing SEG’s presence in your metro area. This role blends hands-on wedding planning with vendor and venue relationship building, networking, and business development.

While weddings take place year-round, each market has its own peak season. The ideal candidate will be available for 15–25 weddings per season (approximately 2–3 per month during peak months) and occasional weekend or evening availability in the off-season for events, meetings, or training. As the face of your market, you’ll represent SEG at industry events, strengthen local partnerships, and build a thriving community of trusted collaborators and team members.

Responsibilities:

Wedding Planning & Execution

  • Guide prospective couples through the wedding planning process and related events.
  • Plan and execute weddings to ensure a seamless and memorable client experience.

Business Development & Growth

  • Add 40 vendors to the Preferred Vendor Program (PVP) within the first 12 weeks.
  • Grow to manage 50 weddings per year within 24 months.
  • Maintain a client load of 20–25 weddings/year per lead planner.

Vendor & Venue Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and other planners.
  • Handle vendor conflicts professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain internal documentation, resources, and website presence.
  • Ensure vendors have print and brand materials, and communicate updates clearly.
  • Maintain 10–15 strong venue partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of wedding or event planning experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve creatively and adapt in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience using Google Suite and other digital platforms.
  • Willingness to travel to meetings and other company events

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base hourly rate + commissions per event.
  • Average pay: $20–$40/hour
